At UNICERA this year ceramic tiles, vitreous wares, pools, saunas, taps, bathroom and kitchen furniture and accessories were exhibited between 2 and 6 March 2011. By gathering visitors from Europe, Middle East, Africa, the event created great commercial potential for the global ceramic industry.

This year, the UNICERA 23rd International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair enjoyed visitors from 71 countries with 3530 foreign visitors, confirming again the international nature of the fair. According to the statistics of 2010, 22nd UNICERA was visited by 53.394 visitors from 69 countries, with 2,883 from Turkey. Based on these figures, a 14% growth in total number of participants and 50% growth in foreign visitors demonstrate that UNICERA is one of the most popular ceramic fairs in Europe.

In total, 27 companies from the Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group featured in the show, including Altin Ceramic, Bicn Ceramic, Crcavit, Dogvit, Duratiles - Duravit, Ece Sanitary Ware, Ege Ceramic & Sanitary Ware, Graniser, Granist, Hitit Ceramic, Idevit, Kale (Canakkale Ceramic - Kalebodur), Kutahya Ceramic, Pera Ceramic, Sanovit, Seramiksan, Seranit, Screl, Sogutscn Ceramic, Tamsa Ceramic & Granite, Tcrmal Ceramic, Turkuaz Ceramic & Sanitary Ware, UmpaS Ceramic, USak Ceramic, Vitra, Vurtbay and Yuksel Ceramic.

New trends in the ceramic sector, such as sustainable sanitary ware products and natural stone tiles were exhibited at these stands. Also featured were digitally printed ceramic tiles produced by using the very latest technologies. New conceptual applications of tiles and innovative exhibition stands gave a design-savvy touch to UNICERA.

During UNICERA, Turkishceramics Promotion Group welcomed guests at its VIP Lounge located on the 2nd floor at Buyukada and Kinahada Salons. Special guests could enter the VIP Lounge by using VIP invitation cards which were sent privately to a limited group by Turkishceramics. Additionally, Turkishceramics companies had the chance to come together with their special clients at the VIP Lounge and hold meetings.

Turkishceramics will also be present at Frankfurt, Germany between 15th and 19th of March. Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group will be participating to ISH 2011 fair with a 96 m2 info stand at Hall 3 number E98. A second event will be held between 14th and 17th of March at Las Vegas, USA. Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group will welcome its guests with a Turkish Breakfast every day at the Coverings trade fair.
