In April 2014, the 25th Coverings International Tile, Stone and Flooring Exposition in Las Vegas, USA invited Turkishceramics to join the foremost ceramic producers in the world. 

Coverings trade fair gives the opportunity for the biggest ceramics manufacturers in the world to demonstrate their products in the biggest Tile, Stone and Flooring Exposition in the USA which has one of the largest ceramics markets in the world. New house sales grew by 19.9% in 2012 in comparison to 2011, which had a significant impact on the increase in ceramic tile sales.  

As Turkey’s top ceramics export market, annual export figures to the USA increase sharply every year, for both tile flooring and sanitary ware. Compared with the figures from 2011, in 2012 Turkey’s ceramics tile flooring export to the USA, surged by 56% to $25 million, while the sanitary ware market grew by 33% to $8 million. In 2013 Turkey’s ceramic tile flooring export to the USA increased by 32% to $34 million, while the sanitary ware market has grown by 18%, to almost $10 million. In consideration of Turkey’s ever-increasing export share, the USA became a promising market and that proves how important Coverings is for Turkishceramics.
