The International Coverings Fair held between 18-21 April 2016 in Chicago/USA, which is recognized as one of the world’s most important specialized fairs in coverings, particularly ceramic tile and natural stone products sector was attended with approximately 200 m² activity area / info stand within the framework of the activities of Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group (STG).

Organized every year, Coverings Fair was attended in the name of Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group for the 18th time this year. At STG stand, visitors were furnished with CD-USB catalogues introducing Turkish Ceramics Sector, as well as with maps referring them to Turkish ceramics firms showcasing their products at the fair area. Our stand was visited by over 1000 persons during the fair. Furthermore, taxi, shuttle, fair official briefcase and fair area advertisement options were made use of with the aim of enhancing visibility as a sponsor for the international press lunch, opening night and architects & designers day.

Of STG-member firms, Bien Seramik, Ege Seramik, Akgün Seramik-Duratiles, Uşak Seramik, Umpaş Seramik – Seranova, Yurtbay Seramik, Kale and Vitra participated with their latest products and designs in Coverings Fair where Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group was represented by R&D IInd Section Manager Sevgin UTLULIĞ and Assistant Specialists Ms. Duygu GÜNERİ KAYA and Ms. Gizem AKSU. On the other hand, negotiations were held during the fair in connection with realization of Turkish Pavilion for the Coverings Fair to be held in the year 2017. The fair will be held in Orlando next year.
